Muma Rye Pure Spirit, an authentic rye-based beverage, reflects the essence of purity and our tradition. We carefully cultivate rye in our fields in Teleorman, harvesting and distilling it at our distillery. From the very beginning, we ensure the quality of the raw material, planting and fertilizing the fields in a way that promotes the concentration of starch and flavors in the rye, essential for obtaining a superior-quality product.

After harvesting, the rye is meticulously sorted and cleaned, followed by grinding and mixing with water to convert the starch into sugars. The fermentation process is closely monitored, with constant control of temperature and pH to ensure a flawless result. The distillation is carried out in three stages: the first to extract alcohol and flavors, followed by charcoal filtration, and two additional distillations to refine the liquid.

Our product has been praised at the World Drinks Awards for its exceptional taste, described as “extremely clean, almost neutral, with delicate vegetal notes of green pepper, dill, and cucumber, and a subtle hint of olive oil.” This description highlights the unique character of Muma Rye Pure Spirit, a premium beverage, near perfection.
