For over 15 years, we have been cultivating all the fields stretching to the base of the legendary hillock (in romanian, Magura), about which we are convinced that you have already heard a lot. Today we continue the story of this place and the beautiful innkeeper who gave it its name. Our distillery carries the name forward with the help of our latest generation equipment and a continuously growing portfolio of craft distillates.

The distillery in Teleorman.

Magura Zamfirei Distillery is located in Calinesti Commune, Teleorman County, Romania. It was a natural step for us to move from farming to distillates. After all, we were surrounded by all the ingredients and had all the necessary expertise to make natural and premium products.

Everything started from the idea of ​​doing things differently and being passionate about spirits. We ended up founding a Distillery and that’s how Magura Zamfirei was born.
